A new reality needs a language.

AUGMANITAI develops terms, taxonomies and ontologies for the relationships taking shape between people, AI agents and robotic systems. A term names an observation. A taxonomy places it in context. An ontology makes its relationships explicit.

Founded by independent researcher Andreas Ehstand, the work connects three questions: how meaning is shared, how an idea becomes an action, and how knowledge travels between people, organisations and generations.

For a founder, this may begin with the reasons behind a decision. For a team, with the boundary between human intention and an agent’s action. For researchers, with a phenomenon that needs a precise name before it can be investigated.

The public work includes conceptual papers, a German-English lexicon, articles and artistic explorations. Contributions have appeared in Private Wealth Voices (Prestel & Partner), SwissBoardForum and business-wissen.de.

Mein Leitsatz:
Human judgement. Shared understanding. Ideas carried into action.
Zu meiner Person:
I am Andreas Ehstand, founder of AUGMANITAI, independent researcher, author and speaker. I develop the language for forms of collaboration that are emerging between people and intelligent systems.

My work connects terminology, taxonomies and ontologies with human judgement, AI agents, robotics and the continuity of knowledge. The question running through it is how meaning survives the journey from a thought to an action, from one person to another and from one generation to the next.

My background combines university research and teaching in Bayreuth and Dortmund with more than two decades of performance coaching. That experience taught me to observe closely, identify what matters and learn from outcomes.

Creative work is part of the same enquiry: using images and dialogue with AI to make thoughts and relationships available for others to explore.

Art der Keynote:
Research-led keynotes and moderated conversations for founders, family businesses, family offices and leadership teams. Core themes: - From idea to action: keeping human intention visible as AI helps with implementation. - Beyond succession documents: preserving the reasons behind a founder’s decisions while leaving the next generation free to question them. - Human-AI collaboration: shared language, clear responsibilities and learning from outcomes. - AI agents and robotics: emerging questions about coordination, oversight and the boundaries of a team’s performance. Talks combine accessible explanations, illustrative examples and discussion. Demonstrations are identified as demonstrations; research proposals are presented with their current evidence and limits.
Sprachen:
German; English by arrangement.
Individuelle Konzepte:
Talks and discussion formats are tailored to the audience, sector and occasion. Possible starting points include a founder’s decision-making experience, knowledge transfer within a family business, or the introduction of AI into a leadership team’s work. Scope and examples are agreed in advance.
Einsatzgebiet:
Germany, Austria and Switzerland, with a base in the Munich and Lake Starnberg area. In-person and online formats by arrangement.
Buchungsanfrage:
Andreas Ehstand is the founder of AUGMANITAI and an independent researcher, author and speaker working on human-AI collaboration. His interests span shared meaning, knowledge continuity, AI agents, conceptual approaches to robotics and the relationship between thought and artistic expression.

RESEARCH AND PUBLICATIONS
His public work includes conceptual working papers, a German-English lexicon and articles on evaluating AI outputs and passing on experience. Contributions include Private Wealth Voices, published by Prestel & Partner; SwissBoardForum; and business-wissen.de. He writes the LinkedIn newsletters The Rhetoric of AI, The AI Athlete and 50.000 Turns: Human-AI Diary.

ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
State Examination in German and Sport, with a teaching qualification in Computer Science, University of Bayreuth (2011). Research and teaching experience at the University of Bayreuth and TU Dortmund. Certificate in Higher-Education Teaching of the Bavarian Universities (2012).

More than two decades of coaching experience, including international performance sport, inform his approach to observation, feedback and the analysis of performance. His qualifications include the Toni Nadal Excellence Certificate, issued by World Mastery in 2018. He is also the author of a specialist book on padel.

His independent research is conducted separately from his teaching duties. Current projects distinguish conceptual proposals, personal observations and empirical findings.

Performance with AI: Lessons from Elite Sport
What can performance coaching teach us about working with AI? A keynote on breaking complex work into observable parts, designing useful feedback and learning from outcomes. Illustrative examples connect sporting judgement with the everyday decisions of leaders and teams.

The Human Side of AI
What changes when people think and work with AI every day? This talk explores trust, reliance, interpretation and the moments when a fluent answer takes the place of personal judgement. A vocabulary for recognising those moments opens a more precise conversation about how we use AI.

A Shared Language for a New Reality
New capabilities need precise concepts. This keynote explores how terminology, taxonomies and ontologies can make emerging forms of human-AI collaboration easier to discuss, compare and develop. It introduces AUGMANITAI as a growing research programme with applications to knowledge transfer, AI agents and robotics.

Human Judgement When AI Joins the Decision
How do leaders keep the reasons for a decision visible when AI contributes to the recommendation? A discussion of evidence, assumptions, alternatives and responsibility, using illustrative examples that invite the audience to examine what would change their judgement.

People, AI Agents and Robots: Defining the Team
As software begins to act and robots enter shared environments, where does the team begin and end? A conceptual exploration of coordination, oversight and the attribution of performance across people, tools, agents and robotic systems.

Naming What Comes Next
How do we find words for experiences and forms of collaboration that existing language describes poorly? A research-led introduction to concept development, taxonomies and emerging fields of inquiry, drawing on the AUGMANITAI lexicon. The aim is to make new questions easier to recognise and investigate.

When a Thought Becomes Art
An exploration of how concepts, associations and dialogue with AI can become visual work. Artistic examples make abstract relationships tangible and invite different interpretations. The talk connects creative practice with the broader question of how human intention takes form through technology.

Making the Reasons Behind Decisions Visible
A founder often knows why a decision feels right long before that reasoning is written down. This talk explores ways to articulate assumptions, experience and decision criteria so that others can question, develop and use them. A starting point for leadership, continuity and responsible AI collaboration.

Beyond Wealth: A Founder’s Intellectual Legacy
What should remain of a founder’s thinking when the assets have passed on? This keynote explores how experience, decision reasons and intellectual work can remain available to the next generation. It considers the possible role of local AI in preserving context while leaving successors free to question and develop what they inherit.

Knowledge That Outlasts a Role
What should remain when a key person leaves an organisation? A practical discussion of documenting experience, context and decision reasons, including where AI may support retrieval and dialogue. The focus is on knowledge that successors can inspect, question and develop.

From Observation to a Research Programme
How can repeated observations in human-AI dialogue become precise concepts and questions worth testing? An introduction to the development of AUGMANITAI, its public working papers and its terminology work. Personal observations, conceptual proposals and empirical findings are kept distinct.
